Brighton graphic designer Alex Borg AKA the Stereo Typist has a familiar problem.

He's read about iconic gigs, you know the one's you simply had to be at, but sadly due to age and geographical diificulties, he's found himself unable to attend. We've all been there, or not, as the case may be.

Refusing to let this bother him – and we can safely inform Alex that Spike Island was rubbish – Borg has instead commemorated these gigs with a set of posters, all done in the style of 1960s book covers from Penguin.

The concerts he marks go from Echo & The Bunnymen at the Liverpool Empire to Blondie's appearance at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles. They all look sensational.

If you'd like to buy one of Alex's prints, just go to his page at Not On the High Street. It's almost better than being there.
